Adult Tennis: Week-At-A-Glance

Saturdays

    • 9:00 – 10:30 AM Adult Instructional Clinic ($20 fee per class)

Tuesdays 

    • 6:00 – 7:30 PM Adult Tennis Skill Builder ($20 fee per class, first week free)

Wednesdays 

    • 5:30-6:30 PM Adult Cardio Tennis ($15 fee per class)

    • 6:30-7:30 PM Adult Intro to Tennis (FREE during June/July. $15 fee per class in August/September)

    • 7:00 – 9:00 PM Adult round-robin

Thursdays 

    • 6:00 – 7:30 PM Pickleball Drills & Games with John & Lexi ($15 per class)

    • 6:30 – 8:00 PM Starter round-robin

Fridays 

    • 5:30 – 6:30 PM Ball Machine Clinic (FREE)

Adult programming typically begins the same week as Youth Tennis Lessons

Members can sign up for Adult Lessons all at once for the whole season, or week-to-week as their schedules allow.

A Note About Round Robin Signups:

Signing up is strongly encouraged but not necessary. Signing up allows players to see who’s coming as well as if there will be adequate attendance. Signing up for the Sunday Round Robin is especially encouraged to allow for proper staffing.

Signing up means that you WILL BE ATTENDING. If your plans change, you MUST delete your sign-up.

If you can’t make the start time, you are welcome to come join when you can but timely arrivals ensure a better experience for all.

As mentioned above, signing up is NOT necessary. If you didn’t get a chance to sign up, you are welcome to attend regardless.

Round Robins

There are lots of opportunities for tennis lovers to play at Wedgewood! We have multiple options for Members to play Round Robin style. From seasoned tennis lovers to those who are newer to  Round Robins, we’ve got you covered!

All of the Adult Round Robins are at the same level of play. The Adult Starter Round Robin is for those closer to a beginning level. If you are unsure which level of Round Robin is the best fit for you, come to one or the other and see for yourself which is the better fit.

Adult Round Robins:

  • Saturdays: 9:00 – 11:00 AM

  • Sundays: 4:00 – 6:00 PM

  • Wednesdays: 7:00 – 9:00 PM

The Sunday mixed doubles Round Robin is staffed and coordinated by WW Tennis Staff. The Wednesday & Saturday Round Robins are NOT staffed and are organized by participants. Balls are provided by the club.

Starter Round Robin:

  • Thursdays: 6:30 – 8:00 PM

    The Adult Starter Round Robin is a great opportunity for those with less experience to play regularly with others near the same point on the learning curve. A great way to ease into the more experienced round robins that Wedgewood offers and have fun while working on skill development.

    Round Robin is informal play in a doubles format with rotating lineups every 4 or 8 games.

    The Round Robins are run by the participants who sign up and it’s expected that players have a basic knowledge of the Round Robin format.
