Swim and Dive Teams
The swim and dive teams at Wedgewood focus on learning, building skills, and improving techniques. Coaches work closely with swimmers and divers to prepare them for age-group competition with an emphasis on fun, growth, and team spirit in a supportive environment. The swim and dive teams at Wedgewood are welcoming groups focused on learning new skills and improving performance while having lots of fun. The teams compete in the Colonial League against Concord, Wayland, and Chelmsford.
Wedgewood competes in the Colonial League, which is a recreational summer league where meets are fun, supportive, and character-building.

Outfitting Your Swimmer/Diver
Items are available for purchase from Tricon Sports through the Wedgewood Merch store, or families can purchase their own gear.
Swimsuits
Team swimsuits can be ordered from the Merch Store through Tricon Sports. Purchasing the team suit is not required.
Fitting the swimsuit
For competitive purposes, when fitting a female racer, the straps should not be able to be raised more than 1 – 1 ¼ inches at the shoulder. A snug-fitting suit will reduce drag in the water. Save the team suit for the meets. A looser-fitting suit can be used for practice.
Swim caps
Wedgewood Team Caps (latex and silicone) are available for purchase at the snack bar. Personalized swim caps are also available from the Merch Store through Tricon. Swim caps are strongly suggested during swim meets. A second cap (any kind) is suggested for use during practices, keeping the team cap in better condition. Caps should be rinsed with clear water, and then patted dry after use. Shake a small amount of cornstarch into the cap and store it flat if you wish.
Goggles
Goggles are required for swim team. Speedo makes many styles that are reasonably priced and fit most youth. Hydrospex and Hydrospex Junior are favorites of many swimmers.
