Weekly Schedule
2:00-3:00 pm Games in the Back Field
Kids’ games are organized in the back field on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Kids meet in the picnic area for water games, sports, and activities run by the Wedgewood Youth Staff.
Youth Games begin the day Swim & Tennis Lessons start, and they run with allowances for weather and scheduling conflicts, through mid-August.
There is no need to sign up, and there is no fee for this activity.
Arts & Crafts – Times TBD for 2025
Join the Youth Staff for themed weekly crafting!
Parent volunteers are welcome during these events (especially for the younger children).
There is sometimes a small fee for this program to offset supply expenses. Please watch for links to sign up as it helps us purchase the right amount of supplies.
The Barn
HOURS:
11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while lessons are in session. The Barn closes for the season in August.
11:00 am – 1:00 pm: ALL AGES are allowed (Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver/babysitter 13 years or older)
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Only children 10 years and older are allowed
If you have donations of crafts, games, or outdoor furniture (no items with stuffing) for the Barn, please contact the Youth Committee, any Board member, or the Club Managers.
Special Events
Splash Parties
On their appointed night, kids in the designated age group are invited to the pool from 6:30-8:30 to swim with their floaties or pool noodles. For safety reasons, floats should be no bigger than an average snow tube. See the Club Calendar for dates. There are no fees for these events.
- Children under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. These are NOT drop-off events.
- Normal pool rules apply. A parent MUST supervise children at all times
- Normal guest rules apply. No Bedford guests at Splash Parties before they are allowed (after July 4th).
- The pool is open to ALL members during these parties.
Tie Dye Day!
A Wedgewood tradition!
Watch for more info and the link to sign up in the Wedgewood Weekly and on FB.
Parent involvement is required for Tie Dye day. There is a small fee for this event.
Barn Movie Night
Once every summer, kids 12 and under are invited to view a family-friendly movie in The Barn.
Popcorn and drinks are served.
Volunteers are needed to run and help chaperone this event. Normal rules apply and an adult must stay on the property during the event.
This is a members-only event. No guests are allowed in The Barn during Movie Night.
