Hours and Activities

Wedgewood offers many fun pool activities in the summer. Members can participate in youth swim lessons, swim and dive teams, lap swimming, free swimming, and youth games. Pool activities are coordinated by the volunteers on the Pool Committee. Contact the Pool Committee with any questions.

Free Swim

During Swim and Dive Lessons, the main pool is open for free swim starting at 1:00 pm on weekdays, after lessons have ended for the day, and at 10:00am on weekends. In August, after lessons have concluded for the season, the main pool is open for free swim daily at 10:00 am.

At the top of every hour, the lifeguards will ask children under 16 to leave the pool for 15 minutes for an “adult swim.”

Adult Swim

The main pool is open for adult lap swimming in the early mornings from late June until early August. A dedicated lap lane is also available during free swim.

Private lessons are available for adults. Please contact the coaches directly to learn more.

Youth Swim

Youth Swim and Dive Lessons and Teams run from June until the first week in August. The Swim and Dive Teams compete in the Colonial League against Concord, Wayland, and Chelmsford, and the season culminates with a league championship.

Lessons and Team practices take place in the mornings. Wedgewood-hosted swim team meets take place on Saturday mornings, during which time the pools will be unavailable for free swim.

Private lessons are available for youth. Please contact the coaches directly to learn more.

Youth Games

To come.

Each member should familiarize themselves with the Pool Rules, found within the Club Rules, for essential guidelines on the pool test, age-related restrictions, flotation devices, and other common questions/issues.
