There are lots of opportunities for tennis lovers to play at Wedgewood!
For adults we offer:
- Instructional clinics
- Ball machine clinics
- Skill builder lessons
- Cardio tennis lessons
- Intro to tennis lessons
- Pickleball drills and games
- Round-robins at various levels of play
Adult programming typically begins the same week as Youth Tennis Lessons.
Clinics and Lessons
Members can sign up for adult lessons all at once for the whole season or week-to-week as their schedules allow.
Clinics and lessons require sign-ups. Sign-up links are posted in the Wedgewood Weekly in in the Wedgewood Facebook group.
Round-Robins
Round-robins are informal play in a doubles format with rotating lineups every 4 or 8 games. We have multiple options for members to play in this format. From seasoned tennis lovers to those who are newer to round-robins, we’ve got you covered!
- Adult Round-Robin participants are all at the same level of play.
- Adult Starter Round-Robin is for those closer to a beginning level. This is a great opportunity for those with less experience to play regularly with others near the same point on the learning curve and have fun while working on skill development.
If you are unsure which level of round-robin is the best fit for you, come to one or the other and see for yourself which is the better fit.
Note that round-robins are run by the participants who sign up and it’s expected that players have a basic knowledge of the format.
Signing Up for Round-Robins
Signing up for round-robins is strongly encouraged but not necessary. Signing up allows players to see who’s coming as well as if there will be adequate attendance. However, if you didn’t get a chance to sign up, you are still welcome to attend.
Note that signing up means that you WILL BE ATTENDING. If your plans change, you MUST delete your sign-up.
If you can’t make the start time, you are welcome to come join when you can but timely arrivals ensure a better experience for all.
